Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan Dies at 28

Jimmy Sullivan, drummer for the band Avenged Sevenfold, has passed away.

He was only 28. Reports indicate that it appears as if the drummer and occasional vocalist died of natural causes, although his death is being investigated.

The band, Avenged Sevenfold, was founded in 1999. The group broke out years later and won Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2006.

Sullivan, a.k.a. James Owen Sullivan, a.k.a. “The Rev” or “The Reverend Tholomew Plague,” was one of the co-founders of the hard rock ensemble.
